It all started with sheep in the fertile valley of Fountain Green, Utah, where Steven Crowther learned the value of hard work, stewardship, and treating people right.
In 1973 that hard-working sheep farmer purchased 5 buildings on the outskirts of Cedar City next to I-15.
Thus began Cedar Storage Rentals, the largest self-storage unit facility in Cedar City and one of the very few with on-site resident managers.
Every member of the Crowther family has memories of sweeping storage units, pulling weeds, mowing lawns, and learning to drive as young as possible so dad could “put ‘em to work.”
Family-Owned
Steven Crowther passed away in 2005, leaving the business to his family, which is now managed by David and Shelley Crowther.
Still family-owned, we’re now in the heart of Cedar City and we’ve grown to 27 buildings with 2,200 storage units and 3 commercial shops.
We believe in treating our customers right. In fact, in 20 years we’ve only raised our prices on existing customers twice.
Supporting the Community
We believe in supporting our community. We donate regularly to almost every charity in town, including Toys for Tots, Gideons international, Care and Share, Kiwanis, and the Lodge Owners association.
This means that when you store with us, you’re building your community.
Compare Us
We invite you to compare us to all other storage units in Cedar City to see why you should choose us.
Our customers appreciate our commitment to service, 24/7 availability, and security.
